What data is included?

Every plan includes the full dataset: 25M+ SEC filings and 87M+ documents from EDGAR, full-text search, XBRL financial statements, insider trading data (Forms 3, 4, 5), section extraction, and PDF generation. Plans differ only in monthly request and bandwidth limits.

What counts as a request?

Each API call counts as one request, regardless of endpoint. Responses also count against your monthly bandwidth allowance (100 MB on Free, 10 GB on Individual, 100 GB on Business).

What happens if I exceed my limits?

API requests return a 429 error once you hit your monthly request or bandwidth limit. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month. Upgrade your plan to continue making requests immediately.

Can I use the free tier in production?

Yes. The free tier is full-featured, just limited to 100 requests per month. It is ideal for evaluation, prototypes, and low-volume tools. For production workloads, the Individual and Business tiers raise the limits.

Do unused requests roll over?

No. Request and bandwidth allowances reset at the start of each calendar month.

Can I cancel or change plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are self-service through the Stripe billing portal. After cancelling you keep access until the end of your billing period.
